[bug-obsolete-packages] mkdir under cygwin xp windows

      Hello

      I am currently working under windows in clearcase environment to 
compil binary with gnu makefile generated by Xilinx tools.
      Xilinx tools provide 2 types of Xilinx application Linux/Windows 
to be able to work on clearcase without any makefile mofication we are 
using "clearmake -T -C gnu" option.
      But on windows with cygwin shell i have issues with "mkdir", on 
makefile "mkdir" is used with option "-p"  , so we have on generated 
makefile there is the command "mkdir -p application_dir"  but each time 
the makefile is used there is a "-p" directory also created ......
      It is possible to have a fix for that problem ?
