Ncurses must remain simple, stable, and maintainable. Ncurses can be a core
for specialized derivations and extensions. But the core ncurses-5.4.tar.gz
is already over 2MB. My first PC did neat tricks with 256KB ram!! Yes, ram
is now cheap, but complexity is still expensive.

I'm keeping all of that in mind.
