I am pleased to announce the release of GNU moe 1.1.
GNU moe is a powerful, 8-bit clean, console text editor for ISO-8859 and
ASCII character encodings, with a modeless, user-friendly interface.
The homepage is at http://www.gnu.org/software/moe/moe.html.
The sources can be downloaded from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/moe/ or from
your favorite GNU mirror.
This version is also available in lzip format. You can download lzip
from http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html
The md5sums are:
88d12cc8fe7834d65a0ab50586376900 moe-1.1.tar.gz
126c6269c2e6add5fc2daeb204bf2122 moe-1.1.tar.lz
This release is also GPG signed. You can download the signature by
appending ".sig" to the URL.
Changes in version 1.1:
* The new command "last visited", that switches between two buffers,
has been added.
* Non-readable files are ignored at startup. This makes "moe *" work
better.
* The non-standard function `getline' has been replaced, making moe
more portable.
* "make install-info" should now work on Debian and OS X.
* A build problem with gcc 4.4 has been fixed.
Please send bug reports and suggestions to address@hidden
Regards,
Antonio Diaz, GNU moe author and maintainer.
