What does "Full Source" refer to?
No use of pre-existing binaries, or something else?
The only usable reference seems to exist in the Mes manual[1]:
"all binary seeds need to be inspectable and must be reviewed"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
which has been there at least since 2018, according to archive.org.
The 25 MiB binaries mentioned in the referred blog entry seem to
contradict such interpretation of "Full-Source Bootstrap".
Has the goal been redefined this year to *not* imply inspectability of
the used binaries?
The text of the manual page *has* changed this year[2], but this does not
tell whether the goal of the previous 5 years was changed or not.
Thanks in advance for a clarification! Either Janneke, or anyone on some
of the lists, or the moderators themselves, I would be extremely grateful.
