Aha!
It was a bug in ARM _start's argument handling (we don't support NORETURN
functions, so the return address is still on the stack even for _start since
_start is a regular function instead; but this was not taken into account when
retrieving argc and argv).
The stat test passes now on ARM (wip-arm branch, commit
5b8a49cdaa6fb7c7237afe789f755eb0619fab6f).
