Details:

If the last spike and the final simulation time are the same, the spike is not
properly updated/computed. 
It is possible/likely that this happens only in models without differential
equations.
General note: Spikes are unreliable and their use should be discouraged,
unless they are thoroughly tested. This warning has been added to the manual
to mitigate bug impact.
