Trying to install GE on a quadCore Intel machine running Lucid Lynx as per: http://www.techdrivein.com/2010/06/install-google-earth-in-ubuntu-1004.html
I get an error which i was not expecting do I have the wrong hardware for the installation). Upon issuing the command: sudo make googleearth-package --force I get: make: unrecognized option '--force'
