Dear Sir or Madam,

I have recently read the GNU make documentation, and have a few
minor suggestions that you might consider worthy your attention:

(1) on page 22, in Ch. 3, last paragraph of "Secondary expansion of
implicit rules" section:

"... prefix reconstruction will be '/tmp/foo/foo.c /tmp/var/bar/foo.c
foo.h'."

It seems to me that it should read

"... prefix reconstruction will be '/tmp/foo/foo.c /tmp/bar/foo.c
foo.h'."

(2) On page 34, in Ch. 4, second paragraph after .SECONDEXPANSION in
"Special built-in target names" section:

"The prerequisites of the special target .SUFFIXES are ... page 115."

seems to be a duplication of a paragraph following .SUFFIXES target
definition (a few paragraphs above, in the same section).

Hope you find this useful.

Best regards,
Semen Trygubenko
