Details:

Hi,

This has been reported by several debian users.

I tried to compile the kernel (2.6.15 and 2.6.15.4) but make fails to restart
where it stopped; it restarts compilation from the very beginning, as though
none of the targets were newer.


Make version 3.80+3.81-rc1-1 always rebuilds the kernel even if it's just
previously been built.  3.80+3.81.b4-1 does not have this problem. Something
happened between beta4 and RC1
