problem with parallel builds on AIX

  Hi,

Is there a known problem with running parallel builds on AIX?

I have a situation where the build will hang occassionally.

The symptoms are that there are no childs of make or the make jobserver.

Unfortunately, I have not yet made a core of the processes or observed whether the jobserver is spinning or not

If this isn't a known problem, I'll have a go trying to debug the thing into more certainty about this particular nasty problem.

If this is the only recourse, could you please let me know whether a CVS repository or similar exists for make. I had a look on the gnu site and couldn't see it. [it could be me...]

  Regards,

  Per Olausson
