Heh, that does help indeed.

It seems the test is writing junk for 30 seconds until it terminates.

I reduced the alarm to 3 seconds and ran the test in order to provide a
smaller log.

While I'm here, is RUNTESTFLAGS="-v -v -v -debug" the correct way of
enabling debug for testsuites? It doesn't seem to work.
