This message is being sent to two mailing lists, one for GNU mailutils and one for Courier (an MTA).
Those two software packages have a name collision. They both include servers for POP and IMAP, and all four of those daemons have generic names.
mailutils: pop3d imap4d Courier: pop3d imapd
On FreeBSD, both packaged distributions attempt to create the executable file /usr/local/sbin/pop3d. If one package is already installed, installing the other removes the first package.
Furthermore, Emacs version 26, out recently, more or less requires GNU mailutils. Upgrading Emacs removes Courier.
This is why it's bad to use generic names. I ask the maintainers of both packages to rename their daemons.
