[bug-mailutils] how to configure mailrc file

hi

i have just installed mailutils 2.1 package fron ubuntu , i saw the
manual and did not understand how to set my provider smtp server in my
personal mailrc . the read of mail state section did not help me .
And i did not find a correct sample example of mailrc which could be
help me .

i want to use mail to send at myself some mails . how can i implement
the line for the smtp server in mailrc file .

my mailrc file contains only one line which is :

smtp://smtp.orange.fr; 

probably i messed up the syntax , it's normal cause i don't understand
it .

may the mainteners help me by explaining how to do it ?
if necessary i will transmit a debug file if someone tell me how , or
any more details .
