[bug-mailutils] Large file support in Mailutils 1.0 [Confirm question]

Greetings to all.

In a thread back in December 2005
(http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-mailutils/2005-12/msg00015.html)
large file support in mailutils was discussed.

I am at a process of upgrading our mailutils setup to 1.0. I can see
that the datatype mu_off_t is in mailutils sources. So my question is
whether mailutils is now safe to use (link with other programs) no
matter what combination of -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS is used.
