Gentlemen, just look at the embarrassment your program causes:
Message-Id: <address@hidden>
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on jidanni1
X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.3 required=5.0 tests=MSGID_FROM_MTA_SHORT
How can I gain back points with a FQDN in my Message-Ids here on my
isolated PC: can mail(1) perhaps try to read /etc/mailname like exim4
does on Debian?
Hmm, the competing nail(1) command even has a -r option to deal with
this. (But nobody has centralized on a systemwide solution in /etc/)
I suppose one could have exim do the rewriting, but I hope I won't
have to take such measures.
