You have not installed gettext or don't have msgfmt in your path. If
you don't wish to install gettext, configure mailutils with
--disable-nls flag.

That's due to the fact that you didn't finish making the library (the
error above has stopped the build process).

It is an unfinished rewrite of the mailbox library.
