mailutils-0.1/./configure

i have win98 at work
i want to install mailutils the php triad 2.2 we have there

i open a dos window

i type   apache/htdocs/mailutils-0.1/./configure

so it looks like

c:apache/htdocs/mailutils-0.1/./configure

nothing happens

am i right to write configure in a dos window? then where?

where did i go wrong?
