Ok, it fixed it, so I'm back on the initial problem. Before I upgraded,
Mozilla didn't like maildir's imap4d too much.

With the old version, Mozilla would just show 2 regular, valid messages
and a third one, corrupt (no headers or body at all, and a 1970/1/1
1:00AM date), when viewing an inbox that has 6 messages.
Mutt showed it ok before, and continues to do so.
With the recent imap4d updates, when I check for new messages, Mozilla
displays a random number of messages: sometimes 2, sometimes the correct
number and if I keep reloading, it seems to add one more each time.

Before switching from uw-imapd to imap4d, the same inbox worked ok with
Mozilla (and probably it hasn't changed).

Will an strace of imap4d during a Mozilla session help at all? I don't see
any option in mozilla to log the talk to the server. This is with Mozilla
0.9.9, Mozilla 1.0 and Mozilla 1.1b.

This looks like a Mozilla bug, but I share jbailey's opinion that it
must be both. With uw-imapd, Mozilla behaved. Now it even crashes every
now and then when trying to view these bogus mails.

Thanks again for the patch!

Jordi
