Dear LilyPond-Team,
I wanted to let you know about a new big lilypond production:
I'm making a new version of "Der Ring des Nibelungen" of Richard Wagner, in a 100-minutes
version for children. It is a re-orchestration, as it uses a "normal" symphony orchestra
(2 flutes, 2 oboes, 3 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 french horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, 1 tuba,
timpani, percussion, 2 harps and strings) and a reduced singer cast.
The whole score and the instrument parts are being written with lilypond and
I'm enjoying the programm a lot - although some typical Wagner notation is
really tricky.
This "Ring" will be performed by the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Berlin on 5th and
6th April 2014, in the Atze Musiktheater Berlin. Conductor is Heiko Matthias Förster.
Maybe you want to inform about it on the production page of the lilypond
website ?
Yours sincerely
Aurélien Bello
