Actually this is a feature request: to have the ability to have, for
example, two A5 "pages" on A4 paper, directly with LilyPond.

Jean-Cristophe (another french user) suggested a syntax like:

 #(set-paper-size "a4")
 #(set-*page*-size "a5")

The OP, in the mail to bug, said:

I don't know whether it's possible or not, so would not accept this as a bug report. If there was a statement that it was categorically not possible, then I could accept it as an enhancement request.

FWIW, on Windows, this is trivial to do by printing the Lilypond PDF to a PDF file using a PDF print driver that puts 2 pages per A4 sheet.
