I am afraid my nearly complete ignorance of proper terms for fonts leaves  
me input unclear.

I like the overall shape from the former version. I like the inner shape,  
if you will, from the latter version better. In the former version, the  
inner white shape ended with parallel lines while the outer black shape  
kept flaring out. In the latest version, the inner white shape continues  
flaring while the outer black shape ends with parallel lines. What I wanted  
to express was that I thought it would look better if the inner shape  
echoed the flare of the outer shape instead of ending with parallel lines.  
Am I making any sense now? I like the black from the former version and the  
white from the latest version.
