In the NR section on tuplets, add a @knownissue saying something like "... then you must add an explicit \new Voice as is discussed in _Learning 2.5.2 polyphonic music_". The link is totally fake; please skim through Learning chapters 2 and 3 to find the real node to point to. It's the one that discusses beginning a piece with a chord creating two separate
staffs vs. beginning the piece with a chord in a single staff.
