po/ is (or should be) managed through the TP, so we'd better put those  
strings in
lilypond-doc domain in Documentation/po.  The concern of requiring a  
autoconf-igured
tree justifies the duplication of POs compilation from  
Documentation/po/GNUmakefile
and consorts IMHO.
