Yes, I know about this section (this is one of the parts I
translated). However, the example shown in the doc is about 16th
notes, which makes the default beaming acceptable, whereas here the
way 32th notes are beamed is obviously wrong.

Thank you Bruce for mentioning the manual by the way; maybe, if we
choose not to address this as a bug, we could rephrase the first
sentence such as:

"LilyPond can automatically determine beaming patterns within a beam,
but this automatic behavior can sometimes produce odd results;
therefore the  stemLeftBeamCount and stemRightBeamCount properties can
be used to override the defaults."

Graham, what's your opinion?
