Problem with libtool's use of sed - 1.4.3 |

Hi,
I've just upgraded to libtool 1.4.3 and I was getting some file not found
errors whenever libtool was run. For example
> ./libtool --version
./libtool: s%^.*/%%: No such file or directory
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4.3 (1.922.2.110 2002/10/23 01:39:54)
I tracked this down in the libtool script and discovered that in some places
sed is called directly and in others sed is called via the environment
variable SED.
Is one of the autoconf/make macros supposed to set this or am I (and uses of
the package) supposed to set the SED environment variable manually?
Cheers,
Tom Howard
