Details:

In the Declaring Methods section of the
docs at

  https://www.gnu.org/software/kawa/Defining-new-classes.html

there is a sentence that reads

  The scope of the body of a method includes the field-decls and
  field-decls of the body, ...

I believe the second 'field-decls' above should read 'method-decls'.
