Hello, Paul
Thanks for your report. Attached is a patch that should fix the
problem. To apply the patch, change to the inetutils-1.4.0
directory and run
patch -p1 < PATCHFILENAME
Then run configure and make as usual.
Please, inform me if it works for you.
