I’m building the whole cross tool chain from GNU/Linux, à la
‘cross-gnu’, but using the Nix machinery instead (there’s already good
support for cross compilation and it’s very pleasant to use!).

Noted, thanks.
(That’s really unfortunate the the “official” glibc doesn’t build on GNU
and it needs to be fixed. But I think we all agree on that...)
