This has already been fixed, I think. If you strive to compile glibc,
then please either work on the Debian `glibc' package (version 2.3 based)
for somthing that actually works or work on the upstream
`glibc-2_5-branch' if you want to help getting that one running, which
means fixing tls and friends; a number of defect reports that you'll run
into are registered on <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=hurd>.
