bug report

Hi,

I use httptunnel for ssh'ing at school through a proxy to my home linux box;
I'll describe my
configuration below.
It works fine, but after I use it for some time and I look at the active
connections
using netstat on my linux box, there is a number hts of connections in the
CLOSE_WAIT state
that keep active for some reason.

My configuration is as follows:

I use the hts binary from the httptunnel-3.3 stable Debian package on a
Debian-3.0 system
which listens for connections at 192.168.0.2:8080 and redirects them to
192.168.0.2:22 (local IP of linux box).
I use: hts -F 192.168.0.2:22 8080

At school I use the htc binary from the Windows NT binaries, version 3.0.
I use: htc -F 22 -P proxyIP:3128 212.83.87.142:8080

At home I run a Debian-3.0/iptables firewall which redirects all incoming
traffic at 212.83.87.142:8080
to 192.168.0.2:8080.

A friend of mine faces the same problem. I don't know for sure if this is a
bug in hts,
but I hope this information is useful.

Regards,
Tom Wilms.
