I've put my source files into a read-only directory,
and I'm trying to build (from the CVS files). I get
an error during make, when it's running autoconf.
$ make
cd ../../../src/hello && /bin/bash
/home/rromero/cvs-install/src/hello/missing --run
autoconf
autom4te: cannot create autom4te.cache: Permission
denied
make: *** [../../../src/hello/configure] Error 1
I'm running on i686-pc-cygwin.
Thanks,
Ron
