Hi Rob,
Thanks for the patch.
I've applied it along with an update to the latest gnulib.
But since that would make gnulib's syntax-check stricter
I first made the code conform.
maint: make our use of gnulib's init.sh conform
maint: accommodate stricter syntax-check
maint: update to latest gnulib; use fdutimens, not gl_futimens
