bug#35554: No network GUI installed by default on XFCE

  1. install guix 1.0.0, only pick xfce desktop environment
  2. when you log in there's no "Network Connections" in Applications > Settings, and there's no network applet in the panel
What I did to work around it:
  1. sudo nmtui to connect to wifi
  2. guix install network-manager
  3. guix install network-manager-applet
  4. log out and back in again
  5. there's a network applet in the panel, and "Network Connections" can be found under Applications > Settings.
