[Bug-gsl] GSL installation failure

Dear sir,

I was trying to install GSL (using gsl-1.11.tar.gz). The steps followed were
: 1]./configure 2] make 3] make install
And it failed. The output of "make check > log" is attached herewith. The
platform specific hints given on the GSL page for the resolution doesn't
seem to solve the problem. The version of the gcc that I have is "gcc
(Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu12) 4.3.2"

Could you please kindly look into this ? Any help will be deeply
appreciated.
