hi,
i've been having some difficulties installing gsl on my solaris box. i'm
using solaris 2.8 with gcc 3.4.1 (and tcsh, if that's important). I
contacted the help-gsl list, and was asked by brian gough to check the
libtool support for the compiler/platform combination and found that
although libtool supports an earlier version of gcc, which i switched over
to, only to recieve the same error as before during a make.
i have attached the output from ./configure --disable-shared (in conf.txt)
and the complete output from the make (mk.txt) and the error message
received (mkerr.txt), i hope this is ok.
many thanks,
matt.
