Hi,
After upgrading from Debian lenny to squeeze, I get the following
message, when running the 'upgrade-from-grub-legacy' command:
----
core.img doesn't exist, trying to create it.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: no such disk.
Auto-detection of a filesystem of /dev/md0 failed.
Please report this together with the output of "/usr/sbin/grub-probe
--device-map=/boot/grub/device.map --target=fs -v /boot/grub" to
<address@hidden>
----
Here is the output of the grub-probe command above:
----
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: Cannot stat
`/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_SAMSUNG_HD080HJS08EJ1TLB28588', skipping.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: Cannot stat
`/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SATA_SAMSUNG_HD080HJS08EJRSLA00278', skipping.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: changing current directory to /dev.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: changing current directory to snd.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: changing current directory to dri.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: changing current directory to net.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: changing current directory to shm.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: info: opening md0.
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: no such disk.
----
Please let me know if you have any idea how to fix that.
Thanks,
Marco
