GRUB 1.99 check error on Slackware64 13.37

 Hello,

I encountered the errors listed in grub-error after
running configure, make, then make check as root.
My system is Slackware64 13.37, Linux kernel
version 2.6.37, with GCC 4.5.2, binutils 2.21.51.0.6.20110118.
I've also included the files generated by config, if
that helps.
