Follow-up Comment #2, bug #32998 (project grub):
I realize that mounting the whole disk rather than the partition would work.
However, because the disk has a partition table on it, Linux detects the
partition, and then the automatic mounting tools try to mount the partition.
That works for isohybrid disks, but not for disks created by grub-mkrescue.
How does isohybrid make this work, and could grub-mkrescue do the same thing?
