Hallo, es scheint dass dein BIOS den Bootdrive dem GRUB nicht korrekt passt,
so kann GRUB nicht korrekt aufladen. Es gab schon Paar Mal Ähnliche Reports
aber leider war der Bugreporter jeden Mal kurz danach verschwunden, so haben
wir immer kein Workaround im Hauptversion. Als erster Test könntest du die
Branch http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/grub/people/phcoder/hardcodedl/
versuchen? In diesem Branch schaut GRUB sogar nicht was ihm das BIOS als
Bootdrive sagt und benutzt immer 0x80 (erste Festplatte).

Hello, it seems that your BIOS passes incorrect bootdrive and so GRUB isn't
able to load. There were few similar reports but reporter has disappeared
every time so we still have no sane workaround for trunk. As first test could
you try http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/grub/people/phcoder/hardcodedl/. In that
branch grub ignores %dl altogether and always uses 0x80 (first HD)
