Hello!
Actually, no. The 0.97 version was the last released version of
Grub-Legacy. The 1.xx series are the first released versions of the
GRUB2 project. I strongly suggest you go through the archives for the
entire list before you make assumptions. You will also find that
nearly all of your questions have been asked by us before.
