Multiboot Live USB |

Hello people, i have this problem, im creating a live usb with small and
specific distros: ELE, Gparted, Devil Linux and Slax Frodo i have 4 primary
partitions in the stick for each distro.
So, my problem is this, i installed grub in partition 1 (slax) and i can
only configure it to boot slax, boots perfectly, the other distros boots
perfectly too, but i can only boot the distro that is in the same partition
that grub because i dont know how to configure the menu.lst (grub.conf)
see, my config is something like:
default 1
timeout 5
fallback 1
kernel /boot/vmlinuz
initrd /boot/initrd
it works great because grub knows that those files are in the same
partition, but how can i configure the others?
normally for a hard drive install before the kernel line you put something
like:
root (hdx,y)
so the root now is the drive x, and partition y, but this is a live usb, so
i cant rely that the usb will always be hd1 for example.
so what can i do?
thanks in advance
