I see the same issue on FC6
I have 10 SATA drives - 2 x 250GB on the MB controller and 8 x 500GB on a
SATA controller card.
I want to use the 8 x 500GB as data drives, and have the OS installed on the
2 x 250GB drives.
Unfortunately, the 8 x 500GB drives appear as devices /dev/sd[a-h] and the 2
x 250GB drives appear as /dev/sd[ij].
I am unable too boot from the 250GB drives.
