Have you tried the manual option (talking about restore grub to mbr) from
Linux Advanced menu instead of the auto one? You have to choose the
partition where grub files concerning the os you want to restore reside.

You can also try the boot linux directly option but I do not know which
linux would it boot if the ubuntu or the fedora one.
