Details:

Once when I rebooted Linux on ReiserFS without proper shutdown (expecting
that ReiserFS can recover from that), I was unable to boot Linux kernel using
using GRUB --- it reported "Inconsistent filesystem structure".

It wasn't even able to execute "chainloader (hd0,1)+1; savedefault 1" command
(with the same message), to load different operating system.

Only one of the entries for an old kernel actually worked, I booted into
Linux using it, Linux did journal replay, and GRUB bootes all entries fine
since then. I guess that ReiserFS journal replay code in GRUB is buggy.

The system is Suse Linux 10.0

I'm sorry I don't have the dump of that partition in unreadable state.
