Reading A Memory Location

I have added some code to GRUB (not GRUB2) to make it work for a specific embedded application.  However, I need to read from a specific memory location (0xD2000) to read some values from a custom piece of hardware that we designed.  I cannot figure out how to directly address this memory area from within GRUB.  Could someone please explain how this is done within the framework of GRUB?  How do I access a specific memory location?  This is running on a x86 board.

Thanks in advance,
Greg
