Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm at the right address, but I do'nt find anything in
the man pages, so my questioin:
When I install (on another PC) a brand new installation of Debian Sarge
3.1, Grub is proposed as the default dual boot (with WinXP SP2) manager.
When I restart afterwards, I get the following messages:
GRUB loading stage1.5.
GRUB loading, please wait
Error 18
And than the PC hangs.
What could be the reason?
Afterwards, on that same PC, I installed the second possibility: Lilo.
With that option, the PC works fine.
I want to place Sarge on the PC I'm now working on, and with Grub, so I
would like to know what is going wrong.
