        Hi listers.

        Can anybody give me a reason for which a 0.93 grub shell will
not set-up correctly a 0.92 /boot/grub? On a xSeries IBM (IBM PCI
ServeRAID SCSI and a 37GB SCSI disk ) I restore a full back-up that has
grub 0.92 in it. At the end of course I have to restore also grub. If
the grub used to perform the restore operation is 0.93 it won't boot. I
mean it won't get to stage2 (I guess...) as I can't see the menu, it is
"frozen" not even CTRL-ALT-DEL. It turned out after many painful hours
that I have to use 0.92 to do the "restore"... So: either there is a bug
in 0.93 that prevents correct operation with the ServeRAID controller
BIOS or 0.93 can not be used to restore a 0.92? Before you ask, yes,
I've disabled from BIOS "INT 13 extensions" and "over 2GB support";
separately or in the same time. Before and after setup (hd0). No good.

        Heck I've even did fdisk /mbr and then setup (hd0,0) assuming
that M$ loader will do better. No good.

        Anybody with a hint? Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated;
ask for specific information I don't know what to chose...
