--disable-xfs doesn't work

I'm building GRUB on a FreeBSD system (4.8).

I unpacked the grub source, created a build directory, cd to the build 
directory and type
../grub-0.93/configure --disable-xfs
(this because the build fails trying to build xfs)
The resulting Makefile in stage2 still trys to build in xfs components.

The work around is to go in after the configure and hand edit the makefile 
to remove all references to xfs.
