Hopefully this is what I am looking for.  I have been reading this list for a 
month or two, to find out if grub can boot a CD

I make this CD at www.stockwith.co.uk  The method of booting is also built
from scratch, so I would not want to include any other product, (isolinux)

All CDs so far have used lilo, but the next version of LFS will use grub.  It 
would be nice if the boot CD could also use grub.

If I can be of help in testing this; please let me know.  I have the creation 
of the iso image in a script; so it is no problem to burn off test CDs.
