Thank you for the help. Memdisk did the trick.

By adding
title Network Boot
root (nd)
kernel /memdisk
initrd /boot.img

to my grub.conf file I was able to boot a dos floppy disk image off of the tftp server.

Thanks again
Kary

You might want to try memdisk from the syslinux package. It lets you boot DOS floppy images.

Not really a bug, but a cry for help.

I am working on a project and would like to be able to boot Dos/Windows9x/XP on a diskless workstation. I have pxegrub working great for linux images, but it will not load images of Dos or Windows.

I can not find any definite information on the list about if this is possible, and if so how does one do it. How do I create the boot image, and what do I add to grub-conf to make it boot from a tftp server.

Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated.
Kary
